This video shows How to Create multi-color text in PowerPoint 2007
1. Select the font you want changed
2. Using the other mouse button, choose Format Text Effects from menu
3. Choose Text Fill
4. Choose Gradient Fill
5. Now you need to fiddle with Gradient Stops and Colour to get the effect you want. eg add a gradient stop for each colour you need and play with their positioning along the line. To add a new colour, click along the line where you want it positioned and then choose the colour. Look at the Direction button as you can see some effects which will make the effect go diagonal.
